This species has been reported from the Antwerp province in Belgium by Van den Broeck et al. (2011). However, Van den Broeck & Ertz (unpubl.) questioned if Fuscidea pusilla can be distinguished from young and sterile F. lightfootii in Belgium and Luxembourg, and therefore the species will not be accepted in the checklist until more evidence, based on the entire material of the checklist area, is available.
