Reported by Scheidegger (1993: 352) from Belgium. The corresponding specimen (which is the type of Lecidea leptocline f. tongletii Hue, collected in Belgium: Mosan, on calcareous outcrops between Rouillon and Rivière, cf. Hue 1898, Tonglet 1898) has been re-examined later by Scheidegger (pers. comm.) and proved to be a different, yet unidentified taxon (L8: 17-18).
