Syn.: L. syringea (Ach.) Th. Fr.

This species was mentioned from Belgium by DG: 32 and Luxembourg: Lorr. by Feltgen (1902: 178), but no relevant material has been seen by us. The recent record from Belgium: Mar. by Ho: 138, 580 refers to Cliostomum griffithii (specimen in GENT checked!).
